Become a Paid family caregiver
Under the structured family caregiving program with Medi-Cure Home Care you can be paid and receive other support services while caring for a senior or disabled family member in Georgia.
- To be eligible and be paid to provide these services for a relative you MUST:
- Be biologically related to the care recipient( son, daughter, grandson, grand daughter) or related through marriage( daughter- in -law, son-in-law)
- Live in the same home with the senior or disabled person and is their primary caregiver.
- Your love one MUST be eligible for the CCSP or SOURCE Medicaid waiver Program
- Spouses and legal guardians are not eligible to be paid for caregiving services under this program
A family caregiver provides assistance for their loved one with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding and other daily living activities. This helps the disabled relative to live a good life at home despite their disabilities.
